General Policies

1. All rates and deposit policies are subject to taxes and change without notice.

2. Credit card given at time of online booking is for guarantee purpose only. Nona Lani Cottages does not accept credit cards for payment prior to or upon arrival.

3. Minimum stay: Apr. 16 - Dec. 15 (Low Season): 4 nights minimum

Dec. 16 - Apr. 15 (High Season): 7 nights minimum

4. $50.00 cleaning fee for reservations less than minimum night's stay and for SPECIAL PROMOTIONS are not computed by automated booking engine. If reservation is by on-line booking, corrected total will be sent by phone call or email. WE DO NOT OFFER DAILY MAID OR CLEANING OF UNITS DURING GUESTS STAY. This cleaning fee is related to check-in and check-out cleaning of the unit and not to be confused with a daily maid or cleaning service.

5. Extra person(s) fee: 3rd & 4th person (3 years old) fee of $15.00/person/night is not computed by automated booking engine. If reservation is by on-line booking, corrected total will be sent by phone call or email.

6-i. SPECIAL PROMOTIONS POLICIES:

SPECIAL PROMOTIONS Offer, MULTIPLE COTTAGE RESERVATION Deposit & Payment: Full payment is required at time of reservation for any Special Promotions offered either online, telephone or by email booking methods. There are NO REFUNDS offered for Special Promotions or Multiple Cottage Reservations, for any reason or at any time. Similar to airline special offerings, Nona Lani Cottages Special Promotions rates apply to NEW RESERVATIONS ONLY, and are not applicable to existing reservations. "Regular Rate Deposit" and "Cancellation" policies as listed on website or in print do not apply to Nona Lani Cottages "Special Promotions" rate. ALL SPECIAL PROMOTIONS INCUR A ONE (1) TIME CLEANING FEE OF $50.00.

6-ii. MULTIPLE COTTAGE RESERVATION Deposit & Payment: Deposit amount is $500.00 for each cottage (or unit) AND is non-refundable at any time. Deposit must be made within 7 days of reservation. The balance of total due is required 60 days prior to first day of arrival and thereafter will be non-refundable.

There are NO REFUNDS offered for Multiple Cottage Reservations: Due to Nona Lani Cottages having only 8 units, and in the event of cancelation of more than 2 at any given time, guest understands that their cancellation negatively impacts the operations of Nona Lani Cottages. Therefore, unless a cancellation agreement is made by the guest and manager in writing PRIOR to Deposit for reservation is made. there are no refunds for any reason or at any time and "Regular Rate Deposit" and "Cancellation" policies as listed on website or in print do not apply to Nona Lani Cottages "MULTIPLE COTTAGE RESERVATIONS" rate. ALL MULTIPLE COTTAGE RESERVATIONS WILL REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD HOLD OF $500.00 AS A DAMAGE (INCLUDING EXTRA CLEANING) DEPOSIT.

6-iii. REGULAR RATE DEPOSIT POLICY:

a). IF YOU ARE MAKING A RESERVATION THAT IS MORE THAN 15 DAYS BEFORE YOUR CHECK-IN DATE, a $300.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 7 days of on-line booking or a phone reservation, payable by cashier or personal check & received by Nona Lani Cottages within 10 days of booking your reservation. The balance is due in full 60 days prior to first day of arrival. (Please note that there is additional payments for reservations booked more than 120 days in advance of arrival. Sorry we don't accept credit cards.

b). IF YOU ARE MAKING A RESERVATION THAT IS LESS THAN 15 DAYS BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL (CHECK-IN) DATE, then all monies will be due by cashier's check or money order via 3 day or overnight mail (if from within continental USA). If you reside outside continental USA & will arrive less than 10 days before your arrival date, there is not enough time to send this payment, and therefore you may pay the full amount upon check in. PLEASE NOTE, we MUST agree to this by email or telephone about this topic and upon arrival, the full payment of balance may be paidl in the form of CASH only. Sorry, no credit cards accepted.

c). If your reservation has 3-4 guests, or you are staying less than the minimum number of nights, we will send you a corrected total by phone call or email as the on-line booking engine does not compute the added fees for these bookings.

7. CANCELLATION POLICY (not applicable to "Special Promotions"):

a). If cancellation is less than 60 days PRIOR to your first day of your reservation arrival date, the total non-refundable deposit will be retained. If cancellation is 45 days prior to and after arrival date, for whatever reason, all funds forfeited.

b). If you cancel after 12:00 PM hotel time, 45 day(s) prior to arrival date, the forfeiture amount will be 100% from the total stay.

c). Nona Lani Cottages is under no obligation to refund or re-rent any unit due to cancellation and therefore all funds paid should be considered forfeited. However as a courtesy, AND AT IT'S SOLE DISCRETION, Nona Lani Cottages MAY re-rent the same reservation slot under the EXACT dates as the canceling party, but at regular daily rate. If same rental unit and total time slot can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund MAY BE issued after same unit reservation has been vacated, LESS $300.00 non-refundable deposit (per unit) AND LESS $100 cancellation processing fee, and if presently a checked-in guest, an additional $75.00 fee for un-scheduled cleaning.

8. NOTIFICATION:

Nona Lani Cottages reserves the right to cancel, discontinue, offer or not offer, to any present or future guest, any past, on-going or future regular rate or special promotion, or refuse or offer any reservation, for any length of time regardless of time of year, and without further notice, via either verbal, written, electronically posted, on either website or printed materials located on or off property. Nona Lani Cottages also reserves the right to refuse the matching of any on-going special promotion or rate another guest may have, during or after the check-in or check-out of guests. Nona Lani Cottages has no control, coordination or responsibility to or for information posted by outside sources, including but not limited to travel guides or reviews in electronic or print format.

9. Check In Time: 2:00PM
Check Out Time: 11:00AM (SORRY, NO LATE CHECK OUT.)

10. Reservations of two or more cottages will be subject to special deposit, cancellation and refund policies.

11. All paid reservations are non-transferable.

12. Travel Agents: Please note Nona Lani Cottages does not offer commissions for bookings made online and/or for multiple rentals at Nona Lani Cottages property. All travel agents must have written prior agreement with Management as to commissions to be paid, if any. Therefore, if Travel Agent makes reservation online or by telephone without prior written agreeement, Nona Lani Cottages LLC is not obligated to offer or pay any fees to Travel Agent and Nona Lani Cottages does NOT OFFER commissions or discounts, including to online travel agencies (OTA) or referred affiliate websites or its owners.

Privacy Policies

Nona Lani Cottages ("NLC") does not sell, rent, share or disclose your electronic information to or with the general public. NLC may use your information to create a mailing list to send information to you about future specials or newsletters about Nona Lani Cottages or Happy Valley Hale and or the Kong Family. If you do not wish to be included in our mailing list, please inform us at Nona@NonaLaniCottages.com and we will honor your request for removal from future mailings.

In turn, we ask that you do not sell or rent NLC electronic information to be used other than to communicate about business related to NLC or Happy Valley Hale. Mahalo!
